Business Development and Innovation Management | Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS)

In order to be able to keep up with these developments and to recognize or create and expand strategic competitive advantages, structured business development concepts and continuous and effective innovation management are essential success factors.

After completing our Diploma of Advanced Studies Business Development and Innovation Manager, you will have skills in the area of ​​strategic innovation management as well as business area and corporate development. You will get to know new technologies, tools and data-driven business models and be able to assess their applicability and effectiveness in the context of your company/your area. Through the focus of the Diploma on understanding complex relationships and the constantly changing interrelationships between industry, society and markets, you will learn indispensable methods to think in context and thus drive innovations with a high level of resilience.

• Digitial Business and Applied Artificial Intelligence (AI) - know, understand and evaluate data-driven, digital business models, innovation and technologies with regard to opportunities, risks and feasibility in your own company context
• Innovation Management – ​​Mastering tools for product/service development and initiating, organizing and promoting innovation processes at a strategic and operational level
• Intra-/Entrepreneurship Competence – Recognizing the potential and effects of intra- and entrepreneurship competencies and applying them in situations of real uncertainty and change
• Corporate Sustainability Management – ​​the importance of sustainability as a catalyst for change processes in the corporate context
• Business Development Management – ​​concepts, scope and process of business development in companies and institutions of various sizes.
• Business Unit Development – ​​the interrelationship between the strategic development of companies, business units and products/services

Atthe end of the 18-day seminar (6 thematic blocks of 3 days each, including certificate) you will be able to:

• Assess the potential of digital technologies in relation to your business context
• Use methods and tools to implement them effectively
• Recognizing and evaluating trends and developments in their business context and deriving business development processes from them

Good to know: The Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS): Business Development and Innovation Manager:in consists of the two certificate courses Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS): Business Development Manager:in and Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS): Innovation Manager :in.

Certificate (CAS) and Diploma (DAS) of Advanced Studies are further education certificates that are only offered by universities. They build on each other, analogous to the bachelor's and master's system for undergraduate courses at universities. The special feature: After passing the final exam, you will receive credit points (ECTS) that can be counted towards our MBA Sustainable Business Development, for example. You receive 5 ECTS per module, 15 ECTS for a Certificate (CAS) and 30 ECTS for the Diploma (DAS) of Advanced Studies.

Of course, you can also take part in our further training courses without exams and without earning ECTS points
